PINEWOOD DERBY
The Pinewood Derby is one of the most anticipated events of the year! The scouts love to design and build their cars and race them to see how fast they can go!

SERVICE PROJECTS
One of the tenants of the Cub Scout Law is that "A Scout is Helpful." In the fall, Pack 99 participates in Cub Scouting for Food, which collects, organizes, and distributes food donations prior to Thanksgiving. We also organize a number of service projects such as litter cleanup, coat drives.

MUSEUM OF SCIENCE SLEEPOVER
In the winter, Pack 99 scouts along with their adult chaperones get to camp overnight at the MOS in Boston! We enjoy late-night free run of the exhibits, a Theater of Electricity Lightning! show right before bed, science demonstrations, and time to explore the Museum, followed by breakfast and an Omni film in the morning. You will sleep in a sleeping bag right in the exhibits! Who knows? You may be sleeping under a dinosaur!

CHUCKWAGON
What is Chuckwagon? The Chuckwagon Derby in April is a full day Cub Scout competition that involves Cub Scouts of mixed ranks pulling and pushing a covered wagon to stations that are geared to their age group. The stations cover topics in the Cub handbooks and "test" a variety of age appropriate skills. The Chuckwagon Derby symbolizes what scouting is all about: having fun while learning in the outdoors, and building self-esteem and teamwork.
