The Webelos Den traveled to Miller State Park for a hike up Pack Monadnock yesterday. This 3 mile hike earned the scouts their Webelos Walkabout adventure pin. They planned the hike from start to finish. They reviewed trail maps, selected trails and completed a hiking plan worksheet to let others know where we were going and when we were expected to return home. It was cold but overall a perfect day for a hike. The scouts even ran into a group of scientists at the Raptor Observatory on the summit. They got to ask a lot of questions and learned a little about bird migration. We can't wait to get outside again!
